In this case the client wanted to show that the artwork had once been folded up as it was in the gallery, float mounting in a box frame in this case allows the object, and it’s story remain intact and visible, embracing the creased paper, instead of flattening it.  With the right methods, and careful consideration, the framing choice can have a profound effect how the artwork is interpreted.
