Corner Splines provide strength to mitred joins on a picture frame. This allows us to use more contemporary, thinner moulding profiles on larger size frames as well as providing extra strength for frames that are going to be handled or transported more frequently.

They are also an added aesthetic detail and a mark of the quality of our frames.

Pictured is an oak profile with matching oak spline with a clear matt lacquer finish. Different combinations of wood can be used for a contrasting effect.
