We produced a 3 colour fade sprayed frame for this Alex Israel Bandana. The frame finish and colours were inspired by the surrounding borders of his paintings from his “New Waves” exhibition at Whitecube in Hong Kong in 2018.

The screen printed cotton bandanna has been stretched and laced around a lined, acid free board and mounted under the frame glazing spacers that match the outer frame.

Fully reversible methods, conservation materials and water based paints have been used throughout.
